Quick answer

Choose Heidi when the clinic's main problem is turning spoken consultations or dictation into draft notes, templates, referral letters, summaries, and connected documentation. Choose Homeo AI when the main problem begins after the words are captured: preserving a homoeopathic case narrative, reviewing proposed symptom structure and rubric mappings, checking source passages, documenting a differential, and carrying practitioner reasoning into follow-ups.

The current query "Heidi Health pricing" is not answered by one global number. Heidi localizes pricing and plan availability. On 27 July 2026, the official India price data embedded in its pricing page showed a free plan, a Clinician plan at ₹4,500 per user monthly or ₹3,200 per user per month when billed yearly, a Practice plan at ₹5,000 per user per month billed yearly, and custom Enterprise pricing. Verify the visible checkout, taxes, billing term, region, plan name, and included integrations before purchase because those details can change.

Heidi is an ambient documentation product first

Heidi's official Help page describes it as an AI medical scribe. It transcribes consultations, generates notes from a selected template, supports AI editing, and can create downstream documents such as referral letters, patient summaries, and care plans. It also supports session dictation, uploaded audio or files, contextual notes, and a desktop dictation tool that can place text into other applications.

That is a genuine strength. A practitioner who finishes a long clinic day with incomplete documentation can test whether ambient capture reduces the time between consultation and signed note. Templates can standardize headings. Dictation can help create a letter without retyping it. A Practice or enterprise deployment can add team controls and integrations around a shared documentation workflow.

Heidi is not a homoeopathic repertory product. Its official Help page says it is a scribing tool and should not provide medical advice. A fluent SOAP note, referral draft, or transcript summary does not show that a patient's exact modalities survived, that a repertory mapping is correct, or that a remedy differential is source-supported.

What the 2026 plan change means

Heidi's official plan-change article says that in February 2026 it renamed existing plans and introduced new bundles alongside Heidi Evidence. Existing Heidi Pro became Scribe Plus, and the earlier Practice plan became Scribe Team. The current Clinician and Practice plans bundle paid scribe capabilities with paid Evidence features. Some legacy plan availability differs in the United Kingdom and European Union.

This naming history explains why current result pages may show conflicting plan names or old prices. Use the current official regional price page and Help article, not an undated review or screenshot. Ask the vendor to state the exact SKU on a quote, especially if the clinic needs Evidence inside a session, a particular EHR integration, document sharing, team templates, single sign-on, custom retention, or enterprise hosting.

The current Free plan is more capable than a short trial. Official Help says it includes transcription and notes using standard templates, unlimited Evidence queries outside patient sessions, and a shared monthly allowance of ten advanced actions for features such as custom templates, Ask Heidi, forms, patient and session linking, and agentic tasks. Clinician removes many action limits and adds paid Evidence capabilities. Practice adds team documentation and deeper integration features.

The plan decision should therefore begin with the required job, not the biggest feature list. A solo practitioner needing standard draft notes may learn a great deal on Free. A clinic needing team templates or EHR access may require Practice. A practitioner seeking repertory-backed case reasoning is testing a different product category.

Heidi Evidence broadens the comparison

Heidi Evidence gives citation-backed answers from guidelines, medicine references, and primary research. Official Help says Evidence outside sessions is available on all plans and that paid tiers add features such as preferred or premium sources, source control, personal libraries, and in-session access where available. In-session Evidence is restricted in the United Kingdom and European Union according to the current Help page.

This makes Heidi more than transcription, but the evidence job remains distinct from repertorization. Evidence can help a practitioner inspect a conventional guideline, medicine reference, or research question. Homeo AI's comparison point is the review path inside a homoeopathic case: whether consultation wording maps to an appropriate structure, whether a proposed rubric can be challenged, whether source passages support the interpretation, and whether the practitioner can reconstruct the final reasoning.

Do not use either surface as an unreviewed authority. A citation can point to the wrong passage or omit a qualifier. A transcript can drop negation, speaker identity, laterality, timing, or intensity. A proposed rubric can overstate what the patient said. Every output must be checked against its source.

Price the whole workflow

The subscription is only one part of cost. For Heidi, measure consent and recording setup, transcript review, template maintenance, correction time, integration work, staff training, data-governance review, and the time required to sign and transfer the final note. Confirm whether the needed EHR is included or sold as an add-on and whether the integration writes structured data or simply moves text.

For Homeo AI, measure case structuring, rubric correction, source inspection, differential review, follow-up preparation, export, and practitioner sign-off. A less expensive product can still be costly if every note needs heavy correction. A more expensive product can be justified only if it reduces a measured burden without lowering record quality or increasing unacceptable risk.

Do not combine the products' scores into a single generic productivity number. Heidi should be judged on documentation fidelity and time saved. Homeo AI should be judged on case-review transparency and continuity. If a clinic needs both, price the handoff and the duplicate-data surface as well.

Privacy and consent are part of the scribe test

Ambient recording changes the evaluation. A clinic needs a lawful basis, an appropriate patient explanation, a consent or notification process where required, a fallback when a patient declines, a device policy, and a rule for when recording must stop. Do not assume that a free plan has weaker privacy or that an enterprise label automatically satisfies the clinic's obligations.

Heidi's current safety article states that it does not sell personal, professional, or medical data and describes encryption, separation of identifiers, pseudonymisation, and non-retention arrangements with vendors. Its product and pricing pages also link region-specific compliance material and a trust center. These are useful vendor claims. Verify the exact contract, region, subprocessor list, recording retention, transcript retention, model use, account controls, exports, support access, breach process, and deletion behavior for the chosen plan.

Homeo AI requires its own independent review. Do not assume that text copied from a scribe inherits the scribe's controls after the copy. Once a note moves between systems, both services, the transfer method, browser, clipboard, local device, staff account, and exported file become part of the data path.

A reproducible clinic test

Prepare twelve completed, de-identified consultation scripts. Use trained staff or practitioners to role-play both sides instead of recording patients. Remove names, contact details, birth dates, addresses, exact visit dates, identifiers, and rare details. Include accents, quiet speech, interruptions, negation, corrections, chronology changes, several modalities, and two speakers talking over each other. Keep the approved reference note and case analysis outside both tools.

Test Heidi on the spoken encounter. Use the same device and room setup the clinic would deploy. Generate a standard note, a custom note where the plan allows it, and one downstream document. Record:

1. Missing, added, or misattributed facts. 2. Negation, laterality, chronology, modality, and dosage transcription errors. 3. Time from encounter end to a signed draft. 4. Number and severity of manual corrections. 5. Whether the transcript supports each note statement. 6. Behavior when the practitioner pauses, corrects a fact, or changes speaker. 7. Export, deletion, retention, and integration behavior. 8. Which required features sit behind a paid plan.

Test Homeo AI on the approved de-identified text from the same script, not on Heidi's unreviewed draft. Record whether original phrasing remains visible, which proposed structures or rubrics are accepted or rejected, how quickly a source passage can be checked, whether a second practitioner can reconstruct the differential, and whether a follow-up preserves the earlier logic.

Run a separate Evidence test with ten public or properly licensed sources, including two that disagree and one that is outdated. Ask prewritten questions and inspect every citation. Do not place case records in this pack. Score source precision, contradiction handling, unsupported synthesis, region limits, and correction time.

Have a second qualified practitioner review the outputs without knowing which product produced them. The scribe succeeds when it reduces documentation time while preserving record fidelity. The case copilot succeeds when it reduces review friction while making reasoning easier to challenge. Either product fails a case when it hides or introduces a material error, regardless of average speed.

Safety and known limits

Heidi says its output is a draft scribing aid, not medical advice. Homeo AI is also decision support. A transcript, note, Evidence answer, proposed rubric, remedy ranking, or cited passage may be wrong or incomplete. A practitioner must review every material statement before it enters a record or influences a decision.

Use only completed, de-identified cases until the clinic has approved the complete data flow and legal basis. Neither product replaces diagnosis, referral, emergency care, practitioner judgment, prescription, potency, dosage, or follow-up responsibility. Neither should make an emergency-care decision. Recording and documentation convenience must not delay appropriate conventional assessment.

Conditional verdict

Choose Heidi when ambient capture, draft notes, templates, downstream documents, Evidence, and EHR workflow are the measured bottlenecks. Select the plan only after verifying the current regional checkout and testing which paid features the clinic actually uses.

Choose Homeo AI when the clinic already has usable documentation and needs a focused, reviewable path from narrative case material through rubric and source inspection to a practitioner-owned differential and follow-up.

Use both only with a controlled handoff. Finalize the factual note before transfer, send the minimum necessary de-identified text during evaluation, keep one authoritative record, document consent, and verify deletion and export in both systems. A scribe can capture the consultation; a case copilot can help review it. The practitioner remains responsible for both.
