Quick answer
Choose the Brazilian HomeoClinic Pro at homeoclinic-ia.com when the tested job is running a Portuguese-language clinic platform that combines an electronic record, repertories, materia medica, AI transcription, telemedicine, scheduling, billing, WhatsApp reminders, a patient portal, and human or veterinary workflows. Choose Homeo AI when the tested job begins with a completed case narrative and requires the practitioner to inspect proposed symptoms, rubric mappings, source passages, remedy differences, corrections, and follow-up changes before accepting any interpretation.
The names need careful identification. This comparison reviews the Brazilian product at homeoclinic-ia.com, not the unrelated Indian HomeoClinic Pro at homeoclinicpro.com. Keep the domain beside every price, contract, and support promise during procurement.
This review uses the live Brazilian product page as captured on 14 August 2026 plus its terms, privacy, and security pages, each linked below. They are vendor-controlled primary sources. They document the public offer and the vendor's claims, but they do not independently validate clinical quality, source licences, security implementation, regulatory status, adoption, uptime, or outcomes.
What is current in HomeoClinic Pro
The current Portuguese product page describes three repertories, Publicum, Kent, and Boenninghausen, available in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. On the review date it displayed 149,847 rubrics across 118 chapters, 3,575 remedies, and 2,277 materia medica texts from eight sources. It also described six repertorisation methods, seven AI tools, consultation transcription, telemedicine through Jitsi Meet, patient records, digital documents, scheduling, billing, WhatsApp reminders, a patient portal, and veterinary records.
Those numbers are a snapshot, not a permanent specification. Search extracts captured earlier versions of the same page with materially different library counts. A buyer should request a dated manifest naming each repertory and materia medica edition, language, source, licence, update policy, correction process, and export format. A larger displayed count does not establish source quality, copyright permission, clinical usefulness, or reliable mapping from a narrative to a rubric.
The platform's breadth is a genuine strength for a clinic that wants one operating surface. It may reduce handoffs among a record system, scheduler, video tool, repertory, and billing service. That breadth also expands the diligence boundary. The clinic must test permissions, data movement, backups, correction history, source provenance, AI processing, telemedicine, messaging, and patient access rather than treating a single feature demo as proof of the whole system.
The public plan mismatch matters
The live product page currently shows a free plan with five patients and ten consultations per month, Lite at R$49 monthly with 100 patients and 100 consultations, Professional at R$149 monthly with 500 patients, three professionals, and unlimited consultations, and Enterprise at R$349 monthly with unlimited patients and up to 12 professionals. The page says the vendor trial lasts two weeks without a card.
The terms page is dated 1 April 2026, but it currently describes the free plan as ten patients and twenty consultations per month, omits the Lite tier, and lists the same Professional and Enterprise headline prices. This is conflicting first-party scope, not a reason to choose the more favourable version. Before signup, ask the vendor to put the plan name, patient and consultation limits, included AI usage, professional seats, storage, taxes, renewal, cancellation, support, export, and post-cancellation access into the order form.
The mismatch is particularly important because the terms allow prices to change with 30 days' email notice and say paid periods are not partially refunded. Test which document checkout incorporates and save a dated copy. Do not assume the product-page card overrides the terms or that the terms override the live checkout.
Data and AI questions
The privacy policy says patient data can include identity, health history, diagnoses, prescriptions, and clinical evolution. It names Stripe, Brevo, OpenAI, and Sentry as processors for different functions and says clinical data sent for AI processing is anonymised. It also says core platform data remains on a DigitalOcean server in São Paulo, medical records are retained for 20 years after the last entry, professional account data for five years after cancellation, audit logs for five years, and daily backups for seven days.
These are vendor statements that need operational testing and contractual detail. Ask what anonymisation removes, whether free text can still identify someone, which model endpoints receive it, whether inputs or outputs train models, which regions process data, who can access support logs, how encryption keys are managed, and how a correction propagates into backups and processors. A 20-year record-retention claim also needs a clear distinction between a clinic's legal obligation, the vendor's storage role, a patient's deletion rights, and what happens when a subscription ends.
The security page lists encryption, role controls, row-level clinic isolation, rate limiting, audit logging, daily backups, and several internal security-review rounds. No independent audit report is linked from those public claims. Request the dated scope, assessor, unresolved findings, penetration-test summary, incident history, subprocessors, recovery targets, and breach-notification terms. Treat statements such as zero known vulnerabilities as time-bound vendor assertions, not a guarantee.

Where Homeo AI fits
Homeo AI should be judged on a narrower clinical-review job. It starts with the practitioner's original narrative, proposes structure and rubric mappings, exposes supporting material, lets the practitioner reject or correct each step, and carries the reviewed reasoning into follow-up. The comparison question is not which product has more modules. It is whether the clinic needs a broad operating system or a focused, reconstructable case-review path.
Homeo AI does not replace HomeoClinic Pro's advertised Portuguese EHR, billing, appointments, telemedicine, patient portal, WhatsApp connection, multi-professional tiers, or veterinary record structure. HomeoClinic Pro should not be assumed to reproduce Homeo AI's exact narrative-to-rubric correction trail merely because it advertises semantic search, AI transcription, remedy differentiation, and an expert system.
If a clinic uses both, decide which system is authoritative. One defensible design is to retain appointments, operational records, and final authorised documents in the EHR while using de-identified narratives in Homeo AI for review. Only a practitioner-approved summary should cross back. Avoid automatic copying of raw patient narratives into several AI tools and avoid two editable master records.
A reproducible clinic test
Use three completed, de-identified cases: one first consultation with a long narrative, one follow-up with changed modalities, and one case containing Portuguese and English clinical wording. Remove names, contact details, dates, identifiers, images, document numbers, and rare contextual details before testing. If veterinary functionality is in scope, use a completed, de-identified animal case and have a qualified veterinarian define the evaluation criteria.
In HomeoClinic Pro, configure a test clinic and roles without entering real patient data. Import or enter the cases, run the same repertory method twice, inspect the source identity behind selected rubrics, edit a transcription error, correct a record, export the case, test portal permissions, and request deletion of the test account. Record whether the library manifest is visible, whether AI limits consume a plan allowance, whether corrections remain auditable, what leaves Brazil for processing, and which data remains after cancellation.
Also verify the commercial surface. Capture the plan card, terms, and checkout on the same day. Confirm whether the free allowance is five patients and ten consultations or ten patients and twenty consultations, whether Lite exists for the account, and whether taxes or processor fees change the total. Do not purchase during the test unless the clinic has separately approved the contract.
In Homeo AI, enter the same de-identified narratives. Record which symptoms and rubrics are proposed, accepted, edited, or rejected; which source passages are opened; how multilingual phrases are preserved; whether a second practitioner can reconstruct the reasoning; and whether follow-up changes remain separate from the original case.
Score both products on source provenance, correction time, role isolation, narrative fidelity, export completeness, AI data exposure, cancellation access, actual annual cost, and the time needed to reconstruct a decision. Do not score either tool by whether its final remedy list matches a historical prescription.
Known limits and clinical responsibility
HomeoClinic Pro's public library, performance, security, regulatory, AI-safety, and feature statements are vendor claims. This review did not independently verify its source licences, repertory accuracy, encryption implementation, model behaviour, veterinary module, backup restoration, uptime, or clinical outcomes. The conflicting public plan limits must remain an explicit procurement gate.
Homeo AI can also misread a narrative, omit context, map an unsuitable rubric, surface an irrelevant passage, or produce a plausible differential that requires correction. Inspectability supports review; it does not make an output correct.
Neither product replaces diagnosis, referral, an emergency-care decision, practitioner judgment, prescription, potency, dosage, or follow-up responsibility. Veterinary use also requires the judgment of a properly qualified veterinarian. Urgent, severe, or rapidly worsening presentations require appropriate medical or veterinary assessment. The responsible professional remains accountable for every accepted interpretation, source, record, prescription, and action.
Conditional verdict
Choose the Brazilian HomeoClinic Pro if the clinic needs a PT-BR all-in-one system and a hands-on test confirms its repertory manifest, permissions, exports, AI processing, backups, and current commercial terms. Require written resolution of the free-plan and Lite-tier discrepancy before relying on any allowance.
Choose Homeo AI if the priority is a reconstructable case-review workflow from original wording through practitioner-approved symptoms, rubrics, source inspection, remedy differentiation, and follow-up. If both are used, establish one authoritative record, a de-identified review boundary, and a documented one-way approval process before any real clinical data enters the workflow.
